A few days ago, Uefa came up with a proposal that the Super Cup final in Budapest should play with an audience. Today it was confirmed that this will be the case.

The Super Cup final in Budapest between Bayern Munich and Sevilla will be played in front of a limited number of spectators, Uefa announces.

"While it has been important to show that football can continue without fans, the game has lost a bit of its character. We hope that the Super Cup will be the start of the fans being able to return to the matches ", says UEFA chairman Aleksander Ceferin in a press release.

The final will be played at the Puskás Arena in Budapest on September 24 and Uefa writes that it will let in up to 30 percent of the arena's capacity of 67,000 spectators.

At the same time, Uefa announces that other matches will continue to be played behind closed doors until otherwise decided.
