"We will never forget you" .. Catalan president publishes a farewell message to Messi
The Spanish President of the Catalan regional government, Coem Torra, published a farewell message to Barcelona's captain, Lionel Messi, following news of his desire to leave the ranks of the ancient Catalan club.

He concluded his letter with the words: "We will never forget you."
A source inside Barcelona confirmed yesterday evening that its star and captain Lionel Messi, 33, told the Catalan club by fax that he wanted to terminate his contract "unilaterally."
