Next Friday, the Dubai International Marine Club organizes a unique community event, the Rowing Boat Carnival (Waqif), which is held for the first time on Lake (Burj Khalifa), and brings together various segments of society.

The organizing committee of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club announced the opening of registration through the club’s official website from today until next Thursday, and said in a statement yesterday: “It is expected that the event will enjoy a large and standard participation due to the popularity of marine sports during this period, according to the procedures. For his part, the Executive Director of the Dubai International Marine Club, Mohammed Hareb, thanked His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, for his great support and continuous follow-up, stressing that “the event comes as a translation of its directives and in line with the plans of the Dubai Sports Council towards Increasing community activities ».

Hareb praised the efforts of the club's board of directors headed by Ahmed Saeed bin Mashar, and the members of the board of directors, thanking Emaar for its great and vital role in agreeing to embrace the Burj Khalifa lake for this new event, which opens horizons for cooperation with national institutions to spread the concept of marine sports in the midst of Members of the Society.
