It can not be said that it was unfair when Olivia Schough put 1-0 for Djurgården a quarter from the end.

During the 75 minutes before that, the Stockholmers had been the better team and put pressure on Kristianstad at Skåne's home ground.

They had kept most of the ball and created most of the goal chances. Had it not been for the big-playing American, Brett Maron, in the home team's goal, Djurgården should have scored already in the first half.

Beautiful cut-through

It was through a change that the match's only goal came.

Tilde Lindwall got the ball centrally, advanced towards the penalty area, looked up and found the ball in between a couple of passive KDFF defenders to Olivia Schough. The national team star could then free with the goalkeeper coolly place the ball in the net.

Wins for Örebro and Vittsjö

In the other two damallsvenska matches that started at 15.00, there were victories for Örebro and Vittsjö. It was in Uppsala that Örebro won 2-1 after two goals from Karin Lundin.

In Vittsjö, it was a swinging event to say the least that offered no less than five goals.

The home team went up to a 2-0 lead in the first half which was reduced to 2-1 before the break. In the second half, it did not look like there would be any more goals - until the Finnish Kaisa Collin scored her second goal of the season in the 84th minute of the match.

But Vittsjö would take three important points in the end. The last word was given to the Australian Emily Gielnik, who is in a hot goal form. Against Växjö most recently, she became a two-goal shooter in the 2-0 victory and now she became Vittsjö's road to a new victory.
