A pressured AIK got off to a good start against Helsingborg.

After a short tussle with the defender, Henok Goitom finally tucked the ball home. A quarter of an hour later, the management goal came.

Sebastian Larsson started the attack, handed over the ball and went deep. He got it back and shot in 1-0 behind goalkeeper Alexander Nilsson.

- We're starting badly. It was like we had to wait for AIK to score before we could start playing football. After that, we played well, says Helsingborgs Mix Diskerud to Dplay.

- We start well, make 1-0. The last ten to fifteen we fall too far down. Otherwise it feels nice, fun to play a match, says Sotirios Papagiannopoulos.

Mets scored

At the beginning of the second half, AIK made it 2-0. Sebastian Larsson sent the ball in at a corner and Karol Mets put the forehead there and nodded the ball.

Helsingborg began to chase a reduction. Joseph Ceesay did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. His shot went wide of the post.

HIF did not come any closer than that. It was three points for AIK. It was AIK's first win after eight games without a win.

- Most relief to get in a third again. We were desperate to get a third and got it. Today it was more about getting it in than what it looks like, says Sebastian Larsson to Dplay.
