Al Ain and Al Dhafra narrate their participation in the four-way friendly tournament for Abu Dhabi clubs, whose competitions begin today, under the umbrella of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, with a meeting between them at 7:30 pm at Hazaa Bin Zayed Stadium, as part of these teams' preparations for the new season scheduled to start on the third of next September .
This confrontation will be followed by another meeting that is scheduled to bring together Al-Wahda and Bani Yas, at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium, which will be held at the same hour to meet Al Ain and Al Dhafra. The match between Al Ain and Al Dhafra will be compensation for a major confrontation that was scheduled to bring them together in the final of the President's Cup, but it was canceled due to the Corona pandemic, which imposed on everyone not to complete last season since mid-March.
The confrontation will be a good opportunity for the coaches of the two teams to test new deals and determine the physical readiness of the players, after about a full month of focusing on this aspect.
The organizing committee announced the schedule of the four-round matches after Al-Jazira apologized for participating, as the second round matches will be held next Tuesday, and Al Ain will play with Bani Yas at the Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium, while Al Wahda will face Al Dhafra team at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, and the tournament ends in the evening. Next Friday, the matches between Al Ain and Al Wahda, Bani Yas and Al Dhafra.
The tournament is held in one round without counting points, with the substitutions being kept open in all matches, so that the teams can come out with the best desired wins from organizing the friendly tournament.
In a press statement, the organizing committee stressed the importance of adhering to the health protocol approved for matches by the Football Association, which has been circulated to all sports institutions and clubs, and following the best practices for preventive measures and precautionary measures against infection with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19).
The supervisor of the first football team in Al Ain, Sultan Rashid, confirmed in a press statement that the aim of the idea of holding the tournament is to confirm the importance of friendly matches during the preparation stage, to complete the preparation for the new season.
He added: "Without looking at the names of the participating clubs or the benefits that await everyone, our aim is to achieve the best equipment to complete the preparation program, especially since the clubs participating in the Asian Championship are facing greater challenges."

The coach of Al Ain, the Portuguese, Pedro Emmanuel, will hold a press conference in the coming days, according to what was announced by the club's account on the social networking site "Twitter" without setting a date for this conference.
Al Ain only confirmed that the coach will talk about the pre-team program at an exceptional stage that the football world has not experienced before, with the aim of strengthening communication with the club's fans and the media, in line with the approved protocol and the precautionary measures followed in the sports institutions in the country.
