Malmö FF's Anel Ahmedhodzic was born and raised in Sweden, and has played for both the U17, U19 and U21 national teams, before he was allowed to take part in the January tour in January, where there were games against Moldova.

But there will not be any more international matches for Sweden. He has instead chosen to play for Bosnia-Herzegovina, the country his father comes from.

- The seat has been difficult. I have played for Sweden at youth level, was born and raised here. At the same time I have Bosnian blood, have been there every summer since I was a child… I have really thought about all sorts of aspects; thought for a long time, discussed a lot and felt for what I really want to do, he says to Kvällposten, and continues:

- The only right thing for me is to represent Bosnia.

"Incredibly good snack"

The 21-year-old has announced his decision to the Bosnian federation's sports director Zvjezdan Misimovic.

- I have had incredibly good talk and contact with him - he is a very intelligent man even off the field, says Ahmedhodzic.
