On Wednesday, Piteå and Kif Örebro became the first elite clubs in Sweden to take in an audience in the corona pandemic since the Swedish Football Association (SvFF) gave the green light for 50 people in the audience at elite matches. Rosengård chose not to follow the Damallsvenska rival's example when SvFF's clarifying message came close to kick-off before the 7-1 victory at home against Linköping.

But in Sunday's summit and league final against Gothenburg in the same arena, it will be different. A total of 50 tickets have been distributed to partners, annual card holders and the support association based on a "first come, first served" principle.

-The match is a bit special and now it also becomes even more special as we are allowed to have a small audience on site, says Rosengård's club manager Jenny Damgaard.

TT: What does this mean for you in terms of revenue?

-Nothing. These are people who already have annual passes and admission to our matches. It's really just more that we can deliver what we had hoped to be able to deliver throughout the season.

The rules are important

After Rosengård's 0-0 match away against Djurgården in Stockholm, team captain Caroline Seger emphasized the importance of the authorities' restrictions and general advice in the pandemic being followed in this weekend's general meeting.

-I just think it is important that you follow the rules that are said, so that you do not do a lot of other things. We still have to protect the lives of all people, she says.

In the important match (Gothenburg leads the damallsvenskan with three points before the second Rosengård with half the series played) the spectators at Malmö IP will sit at intervals in at least two places and every other row. All kiosks will be closed.

Caroline Seger has confidence in the authorities, SvFF and the interest organization Elite Football Women, which sets the rules in the pandemic.

-I trust those who make the decisions, just as they have done all along. I hope they make wise decisions, she says and continues:

-We get to follow the restrictions as they are and go after it, let in those who have annual passes and sponsors and then we get to see how it develops.
