Inter Milan hits a date with Sevilla in the European League final

Inter Milan joined Seville, Spain, to the final match of the European League (Europa League) football competition, by beating Shakhtar Daniyetsk, Ukraine, 5-0 yesterday, in the German city of Dusseldorf, in the semi-finals.

Inter Milan owes its big victory to its international attackers, the Argentine Lautaro Martinez and the Belgian Romelu Lukaku, who each scored a double, the first in the 19 and 74 minutes, and the second in the 78th and 84th minutes, while Danilo D'Ambrosio scored the second goal (64). Sevilla had booked the first card to the final scheduled for next Friday in Colin, beating Manchester United 2-1 Sunday. Inter Milan have not won any domestic or European titles since the 2011-2012 season, when they won the Italian Cup.

Inter Milan confirmed that it constitutes a knot for the Ukrainian teams, in nine encounters with them, they won six times and tied three times, noting that the Italian team was crowned champion of this competition for the last time in the 1997-1998 season, beating its compatriot Lazio by three goals. As for Shakhtar, he was crowned champion of this competition in 2009 by beating Werder Bremen 2-1 after the extension.
