For the past four seasons, Peter Cehlárik has played in the Boston Bruins organization where he played 40 NHL games. Before his NHL stay, he played in Luleå Hockey for five seasons.

But now it will be Leksand where the fans have collected money to enable the recruitment.

- I have followed the process where the supporters have been involved in getting me to Leksand and it is the first time I have seen such incredible support from the public. I appreciate it enormously and will do my very best on the ice for all supporters and for the team. I look forward to joining the team later in the week, he says to the club's website.

Help get back to the NHL

Leksand's general manager Thomas Johansson is pleased with the new acquisition.

- Peter is a good size and is strong with the puck. He has a good eye for the game and works hard all over the course, so I think we get a forward who is quite all-round. I also like the age of Peter. This means that we will be able to continue to develop him as he has not reached the peak of his career yet. That our coaching team, which has development as its main focus, gets to put its claws in Peter and help him back to the NHL feels very tickling and enticing.
