Lewis Hamilton continues to dominate Formula 1 and clearly won the Spanish Grand Prix.

The cloud of unrest for Mercedes in recent weeks has been the heat and tire temperature and that unrest was great even before today's race.

- We handled the tires very well today. I studied the tires very carefully before the race and knew exactly how to handle them. It felt very good today, fantastic job from the team, says Lewis Hamilton in Viasat's broadcast.

The victory meant his 88th victory in his career. He now needs four more victories to break the record as the driver with the most numbers of victories. A record that Michael Schumacher holds with 91 victories.

"Did not have the same speed as Lewis"

Last week, Max Verstappen won at Silverstone and in advance he was the big threat to a Mercedes victory today. A strong start, where he passed Valtteri Bottas, paved the way for a second place.

- It was important that I went past Valtteri in the beginning, that we could split them (Mercedes) today was very good. But we did not have the same speed as Lewis, he says after the race.
