Effervescent happy and very surprised.

Nikki Anderberg has just broken her personal record twice - first when she won the attempt at 11.50 and then when she took the gold by running another three hundredths faster at 11.47.

- It was not something I thought would happen. Not today in any case, maybe in the future, she says.

After the super time in the experiments, she began to understand where the day could land.

- It felt like a good race but it felt quite relaxed so I felt I had more. The warm-up (before the final) felt very good, I felt explosive I would say.

"Blooming"

And the final was almost a repeat of the attempt.

- I knew if Claudia (Payton, second in 11.53) would lead in the beginning because she is much better in the start than I am. But it was just chilling and having ice in my stomach, when I get up to speed I have quite high speed, she says.

- I do not know what to say, I am speechless or what it's called.

Nikki Anderberg, who comes from Höllviken and competes for Malmö AI, has this season returned from an injury, a pain in her foot she had for two years and which the physiotherapist said she will probably never get really well from.

- It's not fun to hear. But I have a pretty big "fucking embrace", I kind of do not give up, tolerate quite a lot of pain. If I'm in a little pain, it's okay.

The puzzle pieces in place

Before this season, she has thus also been able to build muscle and have a good balance, she says.

- Before I was also very ill but now I have received help with it. The puzzle pieces have probably just fallen into place.

Nikki Anderberg is also registered for 200 meters, but she has not decided if she will start. Now she has at least managed the big breakthrough - and been on TV.

- It was scary, I did not know what to say. I was very dry in the mouth, haha.
