Sirius has lost points at the end of the last five matches despite early leads and mostly really entertaining games - until everything has collapsed.

Against Helsingborg, the Uppsala team again owned most of the game and started the scoring early. The first full hit, a free kick directly in goal by Stefano Vecchia, was a real delicacy.

Sirius had to take his free kick near the penalty spot after midfielder Mohammed Saeid's shot took over Helsingborg captain Mohammed Abubakari's hand.

two-goal shooter

The Uppsala team lined up with both a right- and a left-footed shooter and took advantage of the new rules and lined up their own wall that completely obscured Helsingborg goalkeeper Alexander Nilsson.

It was then Stefano Vecchia who pushed the ball away with a stretched ankle, over the Sirius wall where all four players ducked in unison while the ball continued straight up into the net despite Alexander Nilsson being on the ball with his fingertips.

Seven minutes after the free kick goal, a quick change ended with Sirius midfielder Nahom Girmai Netabay being able to place the ball along the ground and in at the far stop.

Five minutes into the second half, the 25-year-old also increased to 3-0 with a shot in the far corner.

"In the back of my mind"

With 20 minutes left in the match, Helsingborg reduced to 3-1 after a corner that ended with Alex Timossi nodding in his second goal of the season.

Sirius, with his last five heavy match finishes in mind, suddenly looked stressed and it was probably one or two who started to feel awkward vibes:

- Of course it was in the back of my mind, I will not lie, but we would have three points today. We fought for it and were worthy of the victory, says Daniel Jarl.

For visiting Helsingborg did not take their first away win of the season this evening either.

The fact that Helsingborg has many injuries and had both Anthony van den Hurk and Martin Olsson suspended in this match did not make the task easier, nor did Helsingborg's goal scorer Alex Timossi state after the match to Dplay.

- We tried to pump but we could not.
