Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Emirates Football Association, yesterday, at his office, received the President of the Maldives Football Association, Adel Jameel. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two federations, discuss the latest developments in football in light of the "Covid-19" pandemic, and the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the two federations to preserve the safety of the game's members.
The President of the Maldivian Federation praised the efforts of Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi and his board of directors, stressing in a press statement that “the international conferences organized by the UAE Federation during the last period were successful and beneficial, especially as they attracted an elite of football officials in the world, as these conferences produced results. A clear and important task that will have a great impact on restoring the spirit of football. ” The meeting was attended by a member of the board of directors, Salem Al Shamsi, and the Secretary General of the Football Association, Mohammed bin Hazzam.
