Emil Forsberg was not in Leipzig's starting eleven in the quarterfinals against Atlético Madrid. He was not allowed to jump in either.

But the German club managed without the national team Swede.

Olmo started the scoring

The first half was goalless.

At the beginning of the second half, Dani Olmo fixed 1-0 to Leipzig.

Felix punished

The Spanish big club moved up the positions and chased a draw. In the 71st minute, the Spaniards were penalized after a hijacking. Joao Felix sent the penalty in one corner next to goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi.

1-1 stood until the 88th minute of play.

Control was provided by Oblak

Then Leipzig went on the attack and substitute Tyler Adams got the ball from Angelino. Adams pulled in and found the ball through a player in Atlético Madrid. Goalkeeper Jan Oblak put that touch.

The Spaniards chased an equalizer afterwards, but Leipzig kept out. The German club is ready for the semifinals against PSG.
