The match started in a position war where none of the teams dominated. After a quarter of an hour, the guests washed Hammarby out a corner. And on it Kalle Björklund made it 1-0.

Norrköping then took over the match in search of a draw. And just a few minutes after the goal, Linus Wahlkvist was close to equalizing when he hit the post with a resounding shot. The ball hit Hammarby's goalkeeper David Ousted in the face and went out to the corner.

Hammarby also stood up. Gustav Ludwigson had a good opportunity to take the lead as Dennis Widgren came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of Darijan Bojanic.

Early penalty

At the beginning of the second half, Hammarby created a pressure with a couple of half chances. But IFK Norrköping's receipt would come. And it did in the 51st minute when Lars Krogh Gerson shot on a penalty after Pontus Almkvist fell in the penalty area.

Norrköping's receipt did not mean that the team took over. Instead, Hammarby continued to have a lot of ball. After 67 minutes, Ludwigson sent a free kick in high over the penalty box.

With a quarter of an hour left of regular time, Hammarby slowed down and Norrköping came stronger and stronger. Ísak Bergmann Jóhannesson hit the bar on a long hard post-like shot. In the final minutes, Pontus Almkvist tore free but shot straight at Ousted.

Norrköping pressed on more and more and during the five overtime minutes the team chased a winning goal. But, with only seconds left, Hammarby got a free kick in the Norrköping half of the field which Jeppe Andersen lifted in and Abdul Khalili finally got a foot on.

2-1 with only two seconds left of the stop time.
