Fernando Alonso finished this Thursday against the wall, without physical consequences, in the second practice session for the Indianapolis 500, which will be held on Sunday, August 23.

After completing more than 125 laps without mishaps, Alonso, who was fifth on Wednesday's day, made a mistake.

"126 laps today and a good day in general until in the last hour I made a mistake and hit the wall. Tomorrow is 'fast Friday' engines running, Come on," wrote the two-time F1 world champion on the networks.

Before the accident, Alonso made his fastest lap on his second lap at an average of 224,363 miles per hour, and placed fourth.

In the final part of the session the Spaniard lost control of his car in turn four to end his session.
