Rummenigge reveals why Bayern Munich did not sign Coutinho
The CEO of Bayern Munich, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, revealed why the "Bavarian" had not signed a contract with Brazilian Philippe Coutinho on loan from Barcelona.
Rummenigge confirmed in his statements to the German newspaper Bild: "The Bavarian club does not have the necessary resources to exercise the option of buying Coutinho from Barcelona, which is set at 120 million euros, as the Brazilian will leave the Bavarian club after the end of Bayern's European adventure."
The CEO of the German club said: "Coutinho's contract, as I said before, is nearing its end, and we do not want to make more investments of this size."
