Bengtforssonen, Robin Jansson, left Sweden and AIK after the Swedish Championship gold in 2018. Tonight he can become champion again, when the barking team Orlando, which has never reached the playoffs in MLS before, will face Portland in the final.

- There are many who see it as a bang and Orlando has never come this far before. It's great fun to be a part of it. Clearly we have been underdogs in this tournament, says Jansson.

Locked up at Disneyworld - in his hometown

The 28-year-old was behind Orlando's advancement to the final. In the semis, he hit a long 50-meter pass to the former Manchester United star, Nani, who picked up the ball and opened the scoring in the match that Orlando won 3-1.

- I picked up the ball and saw that Nani started a run. We got in touch and then I smashed the ball on his lip, then he fixed the rest, says Jansson with a smile.

Like the NBA playoffs, the entire MLS playoffs will be decided at Disney World in Orlando, in the same city that Jansson lives everyday. They travel by bus between the training facility and the accommodation, where they have access to most things, even if they are not allowed to leave the hotel area.

- We have a large room on our floor with games and ping pong table. We have a pool in the summer weather here in Florida, where there are some games as well. That will be what you do with the situation. Going here and being negative does no good.

Outgoing contract

Immediately after the tournament "MLS is back" is finished, the regular season will start again.

- We have received the green light that we can start playing in the arenas after the tournament. I think we have our first match on August 22nd. It's always nice to come home.

Jansson's contract expires at the turn of the year, but there is still no plan for where the 28-year-old will play next.

- I will take it further, there is no point in sitting and pondering it now. First it's the final here now and then there are more league matches in the future, so we'll see what happens.
