Throughout the match, Egyptian press reports emerged about the existence of a crisis for the player with the team and the technical staff, against the background of the player's refusal to renew Al-Ahly and move to Pyramids from next season.
Ahmed Fathy was keen to publish two messages on his social media accounts, the first is ambiguous, as he posted a picture of him laughing, commenting, in which he wonders about getting rid of opponents.
In the second, he said on his Twitter account: There is no need to spread rumors about my relationship with the Al-Ahly club and its administrations, coaches and fans. All that is said now is completely false, and there have been no problems and will not occur with the entity, God willing.
