It was in the 3-3 match against Elfsborg a week ago that Stefano Vecchia - after he started the goal scorer - stepped off injured.

The previously injured knee received a blow and it looked alarming for Sirius star.

But already against Varberg he was back - and delivered directly in what would turn out to be a new 3-3 match.

First he came in from the left and screwed in 1-0 in the far cross and before the half was over he also knotted a delicious free kick to 2-1.

- A fairly stable first half. Of course nice to lead with 2-1 and always fun to score two goals. It feels good and it feels like I'm getting more and more in shape. I enjoy playing football, Stefano Vecchia told Dplay during the break.

Receipt for additional time

When Yukiya Sugita extended to 3-1 at the start of the second half, it looked to end with three points for Sirius. Even when Erion Sadiku reduced to 3-2 with 20 minutes left of regular time, it felt like the Uppsala team had control of the match.

But in extra time came the 3-3 goal.

Astrit Selmani is Varberg's big star. Already in the first half, he equalized nicely to 1-1 when he took the ball down with his back to the goal in the penalty area, turned around and pushed the ball there at the nearest post.

In the second, it was late he stayed ahead in the penalty area. This when he nods down a post to himself and budges in 3-3 - with 91 minutes played.

"It's deplorable"

The match ended with one point each.

- We have too poor quality when we have to make the decisive goal. We have many situations and we will close the shit. But we take another touch and when it comes to Championship football, we handle it far too badly, says Sirius coach Henrik Rydström to Dplay.

Stefano Vecchia was on a similar track:

- It's sad. It is the third or fourth match where we lose the victory in the end. We do not manage the game when the opponents push the balls into the penalty area, it is simply too bad.
