Atlético confirmed that there will be "changes in training schedules, in the structure and development of travel and accommodation" in Lisbon. Initially, the idea was to complete the last training session in Majadahonda on Monday before taking the afternoon flight to the Portuguese capital.
"Although UEFA only requires a negative PCR test from each member of the expedition to Lisbon 72 hours before the scheduled trip for Monday, August 10, the club has complied with the protocol established in its day by the Higher Sports Council and LaLiga, maintaining the weekly tests carried out on the return to the league competition ", explained Atlético through a statement.
