Linn Svahn's promise: "I will never switch to biathlon"

This spring's message hit like a bomb: Stina Nilsson changes sports from cross-country skiing to biathlon.

But there will not be the skier who has been dubbed by many as Nilsson's successor: 20-year-old Linn Svahn.

- Damn it! I can say this here and now: I will never switch to biathlon. I promise. It's nothing to me. For me, it is all or nothing when it comes to cross-country skiing, says Svahn to the Norwegian newspaper VG, where she also tells how she reacted when she found out about Nilsson's change:

- I thought: "What the hell?" It has of course been unusual to think "Stina Nilsson, biathlete", instead of "Stina Nilsson, cross-country skier".
