[Explanation] On August 8, the mascot of the 2021 International Snow Federation Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding World Championships was officially released through the "cloud platform" in Zhangjiakou.

  [Explanation] The mascot of the 2021 World Championships is named "Golden Bull". The design is inspired by the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Ox in 2021. The design is based on the image of a cartoon bull, with gold as the main color, and new year "Chinese Red" costume elements. It has the meaning of Taurus Lunar New Year, joy and auspiciousness; it is lively, smart, playful and cute, which fits the winter extreme sports characteristics of freestyle skiing and snowboarding, and embodies the characteristics of winter ice and snow sports.

  [Concurrent] The release of Gao Yingxia, the mascot of the Zhangjiakou Winter Olympics Office, the mascot Taurus, is an important milestone in the preparation of the event. It will attract more young people to pay attention to the World Championships and Winter Olympics and participate in ice and snow sports. At the same time, today is also the 12th National Fitness Day in our country. I hope everyone will gain health and happiness in sports on this special day. 

  [Explanation] The International Snow Federation Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding World Championships are held every two years. The 2021 World Championships is the largest, highest level, longest time, and most events hosted by China before the 2022 Winter Olympics Snow events. According to the competition schedule, the 2021 World Championships are scheduled to be held from February 18 to 28, 2021 in Chongli Yunding Ski Park, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, and Shougang Park, Shijingshan District, Beijing.

  [Explanation] The design of the mascot for the 2021 World Championships was launched in March 2019. As a design unit, the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, through meticulous research and gathering, gathered suggestions from all parties at home and abroad to form the final design plan.
