"The meeting was briefed on the latest developments in the health protocol for holding matches, which is prepared by the committee supervising it, in coordination with the competent authorities in the country, which has reached its final stages," said the Secretary-General of the Football Association, Muhammad Hazam Al Dhaheri. He added: “The Board of Directors also discussed the recommendation of the National Teams and Technical Affairs Committee regarding the country’s hosting of group matches, in which the Olympic team will play in the qualifiers for the AFC U-23 Finals, from 23 to 31 October 2021, as it decided to approve in principle the hosting And coordination with the Asian Union in this regard ».

The Board of Directors approved the amendments to the regulations for competitions (President’s Cup, First Class League, and Sunni phase competitions) and the annual circular for the year round competitions for the new season, quality control procedures and the media regulations for the President’s Cup and First Class League competitions.

The formation of a beach ball committee headed by Ali Hamad Al-Badwawi, and approval of adding Noura Al-Qasim to the membership of the Strategy and Investment Committee.
