Gothenburg took command directly in the match introduction and already after six minutes, Rebecka Blomqvist was able to score 1-0 in the crossbar after a fine pass from Emma Koivisto. Koivisto was then close to increasing shortly afterwards but the ball rolled annoyingly just outside.

Piteå tried to cut through the visitors' defense but rarely managed to get a dangerous finish. Instead, Gothenburg fed on with balls forward and produced several good shots towards goal, through Filippa Curmark, Koivisto and Stina Blackstenius.

Gothenburg's press slowed down a bit into the half and Piteå was allowed to stand out a few times without creating anything of value. Instead, Piteå's goalkeeper Guro Pettersen was forced to a giant save on Pauline Hammarlund's close shot after a free kick.

Blackstenius placed second

It took until the 39th minute before Piteå managed to get a goal chance, and that after the ball bounced back and forth in front of Gothenburg's goalkeeper. However, Nina Jakobsson did not manage to connect with it, as his team mates had hoped, and the ball went out.

A minute later, the guests rolled up Piteå's defense and Stina Blackstenius was able to hit 2-0 on a long pass along the line from the right by Pauline Hammarlund.

Piggare Piteå

Piteå came out to the second half with much more energy and took care of the game. At first, Gothenburg had quite an easy time pacifying their goal. They managed to create the first chance of the half when Julia Roddar shot over an almost open goal from close range.

Piteå's great chance to get into the game came in the 51st minute when Josefin Johansson hit the post.

But instead of 1-2, it became 0-3 a few minutes later when Pauline Hammarlund buttoned the beetle on a corner from Rebecka Blomqvist. She was also last on the ball in the 67th minute when the ball rolled past Guro Pettersen to 4-0. With 78 minutes played, Rebecka Blomqvist had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal.

In stoppage time, Piteå got a little pay for all the hard work when Julia Karlernäs shot a long shot that went in through the post.
