The Polish Prosecutor's Office is investigating the accident suffered last Wednesday by the Dutch cyclist Fabio Jakobsen (Deceunink-Quick Step) in the opening stage of the Tour of Poland and that caused him serious injuries.
"We have heard three witnesses so far, including a representative of the race organization," a spokesman for the Prosecutor's Office said late on Thursday, according to the Polish news agency PAP.
