Frida Karlsson defeated Norwegian Therese Johaug last season for the first time in her career, when she won the three-mile race at the Norwegian national arena Holmenkollen in March.
And Karlsson now tells the Norwegian newspaper VG that she thinks that it may soon be the case that someone other than Johaug is seriously allowed to call himself the best in the world.
- It is obvious that the focus is on her, because she is the best right now. At the same time, she has been on the throne for a long time, and there are many in our team who knock on the door and approach her, she says, and continues:
