The last places for the Final 8 of the Europa League were at stake on Thursday evening. And the winners are known. Sevilla beat Roma in one game, Bayer confirms

The Andalusians, five times winners of the "small" European Cup, continue their way to a sixth title with their 2-0 victory over Roma, acquired after a single match on neutral ground due to pandemic of Covid-19. They will face Wolves, short winners of Olympiakos 1-0 (1-1 in the first leg) thanks to an early penalty from Raul Jimenez.

Bayer Leverkusen also composted their ticket with a 1-0 victory over Glasgow Rangers (3-1 in the first leg) after a physical and disjointed match. It was easier for FC Basel. Already a 3-0 winner in the first leg against Frankfurt, the Swiss put it back on Thursday (1-0).
