All rounds of the Nations League were previously canceled and the aim was instead to only complete the final in Barcelona in October.
Sweden is part of Division 1 in Europe and would thus be directly qualified for the final. However, due to the prevailing corona situation in the country, no final will be arranged.
"We have examined every possible scenario, including an event without an audience, but the combination of the situation in Catalonia and the travel restrictions that still prevail, means that the final can unfortunately not be held in Barcelona. The risks are simply too great ", says FEI chairman Ingmar De Vos in the press release.
