The Italian club commented, on its official account on the social networking site "Twitter": "Unfortunately, we followed the difficult scenes circulating in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and all of us in Inter Milan send our heartfelt prayers to all those affected, and we wish the safety of the entire Lebanese people."
In turn, the official website of the French Saint-Germain club team said on the social networking site "Twitter": "Our hearts are with the victims of the explosion that hit Beirut."

The Lebanese National Media Agency also confirmed that a number of dead and injured were injured due to the explosion of the explosives warehouse in Beirut Port, and indicated that there were major damage to buildings and cars in the areas of Karantina, Ashrafieh, Hamra and the areas surrounding the site of the explosion, and the building of the EDL was also damaged.
