Dutch newspaper "De Telegraaf" revealed on Wednesday that many players and administrators of Ajax Amsterdam were infected with the new Corona virus last June.

The newspaper reported that 13 people were infected, which was not confirmed by a club spokesman.

In mid-June, 90 people (a player, an administrator and an employee) from Ajax underwent "Covid-19" tests.

It was not specified when or how the people concerned were injured. They are believed to have contracted the virus before June, when the team's training center was closed after the suspension of competitions.

The team spokesman confirmed to the newspaper that there is currently no person infected with the virus in Ajax.

The spread of "Covid-19" resulted in the suspension of the Dutch league last March, during the twenty-sixth stage when Ajax were leading with 56 points, goal difference from his opponent Alkmaar, but the season was eventually canceled without identifying any champion.
