FC Ryukyu Rookie Chinen player infected with the new corona Okinawa 5th August 15:23

FC Ryukyu of soccer J2 announced that rookie player Tetsuya Chinen was confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.

According to FC Ryukyu, when Chinen was officially tested for the new coronavirus by the J League on the 31st of last month, the result was that it was highly likely to be positive on the 3rd.

Upon receiving this, a doctor's diagnosis was given on the 4th, and infection with the new coronavirus was confirmed.

It is said that Chinen is currently recovering at home because of the symptoms of discomfort in his throat, fever and headache.

Chinen was a rookie from Naha City and played one game as a defender this season, but he did not participate in the match with Fagiano Okayama, which was played away on 1st of this month.

On the 4th, FC Ryukyu conducts a PCR test for all athletes and staff, and puts everyone on standby at home.

So far, no one has complained of physical condition.

Regarding the match between FC Ryukyu and Tokyo Verdy on the 8th of this month, the J League is currently scheduled to play as usual.
