Will Ligue 1 be able to resume? Several worrying signals are appearing in recent days. After the cancellation of the OM-Montpellier friendly match this morning, the Racing Club de Strasbourg announced this Tuesday evening that four new positive cases for Covid-19 have been detected in the professional team. "These tests were organized [Monday] following the detection of five positive cases on Friday July 29", specifies RC Strasbourg on its website.

Infected players have been placed in fourteen. "We work in close collaboration and in total transparency with the Regional Health Agency", assures François Pietra, the club's doctor. The Alsatian leaders have decided to cancel the friendly match which was to oppose Racing at the Reims stadium on Saturday. A friendly match against Dijon had already been canceled for the same reasons.
