In mid-July, the news came that Astrit Ajdarevic will take a break from football for the rest of the month. Now that August is here, the club announces that, after a dialogue between Ajdarevic and the management, that break will be extended.
- He will continue to train on his own for two more weeks and then we will have a new reconciliation, which follows the plan we jointly laid out, says sports director Bosse Andersson to the club's website.
Ajdarevic himself commented on the decision when it was first announced that he would take a break.
- To all my friends who have heard from me recently, I can say that I and my family are fine. I will take a break from football to hopefully soon return fully motivated to do what I love most, he said to the club's website then.
