The court will announce the decision to review the case of Kokorin and Mamaev on August 3

"The court is postponing the session until August 3, get ready for the court to issue a ruling," the judge said.

In mid-May, the Second Cassation Court of General Jurisdiction overturned the Moscow City Court's appeal judgment in the case of Kokorin and Mamaev. Football players who have already served their sentences can obtain re-qualification of the articles of the charge.

Recall that the athletes were found guilty in the case of two fights in the center of Moscow that happened in the fall of 2018. The players served their sentences in a colony, and in the fall of 2019 they were released.

Earlier, Mamaev's lawyer expressed the opinion that the footballer deserved a fine, not imprisonment.
