It will have taken time but it is finally complete. Nigerian Losc striker Victor Osimhen, one of the big revelations of the 2019-2020 Ligue 1 season, signed up for Napoli on Friday. Neither club gave financial details of the operation, the amount of which is estimated in very different ways depending on the sources. The only certainty, to paraphrase Pierre Ménès in Fifa 20, “it's for a hell of a lot of money”.

Sources close to the case in Lille assured AFP that the transfer was concluded against 70 million euros plus 10 bonus. This sum corresponds to that mentioned by other French media such as L'Equipe or RMC, which speak of 80 or 81 million euros including bonus. In Italy, on the other hand, the media put forward smaller figures, between 50 million euros and bonuses and 60 million.

Le Losc is having fun

The arrival of Osimhen should in any case be the biggest investment in the history of Napoli who, except to win the current edition, will not participate in the next Champions League. The 21-year-old striker scored 18 goals in 38 games in all competitions last season with Losc. Which gives us the goal of more than four million euros. Like last year with the sale of Pépé to Arsenal for a similar amount, Losc once again prove that they have a hollow nose to recruit and sell their players. We say thank you who? Thank you Luis Campos!
