According to RIA Novosti, journalists asked the forward about the transfer to Spartak before the meeting regarding the revision of the verdict on him and the Rostov midfielder Pavel Mamaev, but Kokorin ignored these questions and only shared his expectations from the meeting.
Sochi rented Kokorin from Zenit in winter until the end of the season. In ten matches for the southern team, the 29-year-old striker scored seven goals and made three assists. Information appeared in the press that Kokorin signed a contract with Spartak, but this will be announced on August 1, since his current contract with Zenit expires on July 31.
