PSV signed a sponsorship deal with TOTO on Thursday, following nine other Eredivisie clubs. The sports betting provider commits to the Eindhoven team for three years, with the option for another two seasons.

PSV players will play the match in friendly matches and cup matches with the TOTO logo on their sleeve. In many of the other clubs that made a deal with the company, the same goes for league games.

Feyenoord, Sparta Rotterdam, Willem II, FC Utrecht, FC Groningen, sc Heerenveen, ADO Den Haag, FC Twente and RKC Waalwijk already preceded PSV. This means that more than half of the Eredivisie is sponsored by TOTO, which financially assists the clubs in the corona crisis.

"We have spoken with various betting parties in the past period," says PSV's commercial director Frans Janssen. "In addition, several lucrative proposals came up. We think it is important that a partner organizes its affairs in a way that we feel comfortable with and TOTO does that."

PSV will play TOTO on the sleeve for the first time on Friday in the exhibition game against the amateurs of UNA. It is not known what amount is involved in the agreement, but according to the Eindhovens Dagblad it is about 5 or 6 million euros for a period of five years.
