Linköping continues to impress in the damallsvenskan and with the victory at home against Kif Örebro puts pressure on the top duo Rosengård and Gothenburg who clash on Thursday.

The only goal of the match was perhaps not the most beautiful done at Linköping arena, but Ronja Aronsson's "full hit" was no less important for that.

With 42 minutes played, Frida Maanum had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. However, the ball was stopped by Örebro defenders and instead appeared in front of the feet of Aronsson - who despite not getting a further hit managed to poke in 1-0 next to the front post.

Linköping then managed to keep the match out for a while - but despite that, not everything was peace and joy.

Important midfielder Maanum got a feeling in the second half and was forced to step down in the 66th minute with a suspected thigh injury. Worrying for coach Olof Unogård as the Norwegian national team player was one of Linköping's most important plays in the start of the damallsvenskan with three goals on the account.

The fifth victory of the season sends Linköping up in second place, on the same points as Gothenburg and one before Rosengård.

Kif Örebro is in eighth place.
