The Kingdom of Bahrain acquired a 20% stake and became the main sponsor of Paris FC, one of the second-class football clubs in France.

"The officials and shareholders of Paris FC are pleased to announce the arrival of a new consolidation: the Kingdom of Bahrain. The process has been achieved by increasing capital to enhance shareholders' rights, allowing the sovereign fund to acquire 20% of the company," the club wrote in a statement. He will remain the main owner of the club with a 77% stake.

Bahrain became the main sponsor of the club, which escaped from the decline to the third degree last season, after finishing in the seventeenth place in the second division, "In addition to this investment, the Bahrain Fund will become the main sponsor of the club."

"The sporting ambition of the first male team is to reach the first degree in the next three years, and to develop its women's team to the highest level in the first-class championship," the club added.

The club expects to increase its budget by 30% without specifying the date for this to happen, indicating that other foreign investors will join the club in the coming months.
