Hatta defender Issa Santo, who returned from the two-year suspension due to taking stimulants, revealed a great shock that he received from his friends, the players, without calling them, and those who were cut off from him, at a time when he enumerated the names of the stars they did not stop, including: Ismail Matar, Bashir Saeed, Mahmoud Khamis, Muhammad Jaber, Muhammad al-Shehhi and Ahmed Dida.

"I was shocked by many players during my two-year suspension. They were friends on a long walk and it was just enough for me to call, but it is a period that I learned a lot from," Santo said.

Santo (33 years old) talked about his transfer to Hatta Club, stressing that he signed for the "Hurricane", as he was looking for toys and not money, as he answered many of the audience's inquiries ... as follows:

Beginning .. What did you do within two years of the arrest?

Two years away from my football fans, and I don’t know yet the reason, and I don’t feel guilty about what happened because until now I don’t understand what happened to me but it really happened, and it has become from the past. I learned through this pause a lot, especially since it revealed my future ahead, I discovered that football is not permanent, but my proximity to God contributed to this sorrow being removed, and I return to the stadiums again, to prove that I am able to give, until the time comes when I feel I cannot give in the stadiums.

Why did you choose the Hatta team?

I chose the Hatta team, because I am looking for play and not the material, as well as the Hatta club looking for players who want to prove themselves, and I want that, to prove to everyone that I am still able to give, and I respond to those who expected that I ended because of the suspension, and frankly the Hatta club is looking for a contract with me A year ago, the club's administrator, Nasser Al-Falasi, contacted me and confirmed the team's desire to sign me, and asked me to visit the club, but I informed him that I am arrested and do not have the right to be in the clubs, and today I want to return them to sign the club, and I hope to be at the best of expectations.

What did you do during the two years of suspension? Did you play football?

Certainly I did not stop sporting, whether through Puma Sports Company the official sponsor of me, as I participated with her in many marathons, as I played with the American University in the Emirates team, I am a university student, and now I returned to represent Puma again in football, after its representation The last two years in athletics.

- What is the secret of your training with victory?

My presence with Al-Nasr was at the initiative of my friend Mahmoud Khamis, who asked the club’s management to allow me to train with the team until I contracted with a club, so that I could touch the ball again and it was the first time that I had trained with a team since I was suspended, and Al-Nasr has no knowledge of my contract with Hatta , Which was done by my manager Bashir Saeed.

There is a feeling of sadness in the journey of Issa Santo ... after two years of detention?

Frankly, I was shocked by many players, who were friends in a long march, and it was enough for me to contact, but it was a period that I learned a lot from, and I had started the private work just before the suspension, but he stopped with a declaration of stopping playing the ball, and in return there are players Men who have never been separated from me, including: Ismail Matar, Bashir Saeed, Mahmoud Khamis, Muhammad Jaber, Muhammad al-Shehhi and Ahmed Dida, all of whom are in constant contact.

Are you satisfied with your football career?

Certainly .. I graduated from Al-Wahda School of Football, which is not only in teaching football, but also in thought, as it cares about players from all sides, then I went to Al-Ahly, and we reached the AFC Champions League final, and achieved tournaments, then another Sharjah team Two seasons before the suspension and the beginning of the return to the championships, he was very satisfied, as she achieved the league championship, the Super Cup, and other championships, while the national team found him during my time playing with Al-Wahda.

Finally ... What is the reason for calling you "Santo"?

The title "Santo" was given to me by the former Al-Wahda team manager, Abdullah Saleh, when I was a player in Al-Wahda, according to my father Ahmed Santo, who was a player in Al-Nasr Club. He was famous for this title because of an international player called Alfanso Santo, and my father likened him to him. My beginning with the unit, Captain Abdullah said: «This is the son of Ahmed Santo, and thus it is called Jesus Santo.
