Head of the Medical Committee of the Egyptian Football Association, Mohamed Sultan, confirmed that Al-Ahly midfielder Hamdi Fathi will undergo a new examination unless he shows any symptoms of the Corona virus within 10 days, after the survey conducted by Fathi showed that it is positive.
Sultan told the Egyptian newspaper Al-Watan that: "If the Al-Ahly player continues for 10 days without symptoms, he will undergo another smear, and based on their results, he can return to training normally with the team."
He continued: "Clubs did not comply with our advice on wading the valleys, and we did not reduce precautionary measures in relation to dealing with the Corona virus, but in general with the decline in infection numbers, a general leniency has occurred on the part of all Egyptians."
