Hammarby should have taken the lead in Malmö.

This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when Alexander Kacaniklic slipped through the defense on the right to come up alone against Johan Dahlin, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. Then it was all about Malmö FF in the big city meeting.

Jo Inge Berget was forgotten in the penalty area when barely half an hour had been played. He could wait for the ball and on a volley make it 1-0, played by team captain Anders Christiansen who hit the corner.

In a change just six minutes later, the ball came out to Isac Kiese Thelin who with surveillance could distinctly push the ball up into the net roof at the nearest post. Malmö thus in a 2-0 lead until the break.

Aim directly at others

In the second, Hammarby never got the chance to find the goal in the match. Instead, the Scanians increased to 3-0 when Jo Inge Berget won a melee in Bajen's penalty area and then could find Marcus Antonsson who from close range poked in his first goal of the season.

- It felt fantastic. It has been assist two games in a row and now the goal came as well. It feels a bit like it is the self-confidence in the last third that has been lacking before, but now it feels like we are on our way, says Antonsson to Dplay after the victory.

Hammarby tried to make a match of this, but when the match is summed up it is stated that Dahlin between the home posts did not have much to do.

- Today I think we are pretty good large parts of the match. But we have no quality at the front and make damn big mistakes defensively and you can not afford that against Malmö. It is going too slowly, says Hammarby's coach Stefan Billborn after the loss.

Malmö won 3-0 and is a new table runner-up - four points behind league leader Norrköping.
