The North American professional sport is about to resume with the ice hockey league NHL, basketball league NBA and baseball league MLB around the corner.

As the Black lives matter movement grows stronger, many sports stars have taken a political stand.

In the restart of the football league MLS, the men's professional league in the USA, the players have chosen to protest with clenched fists and knee bends.

Something that US President Donald Trump prefers not to see.

"I look forward to live sports, but every time I see a player go down on his knees during the national anthem, it is a signal of gross disrespect for our country and flag. The match is over for me! ”, He writes on Twitter.

Trump has swung to the knee before. In 2017, he wrote on Twitter that he wanted to see a ban on kneeling during the national anthem.
