A strong field in today's long jump gala in Gothenburg which was organized by Yannick Tregaro. On the women's side, the home jumper Khaddi Sagnia and young Tilde Johansson were on site next to Ullevi where the competition was decided.

Khaddi Sagnia with the stated goal of breaking the eight-meter limit this year looked to be in good shape and struck with 6.65, which was also enough for the victory. The Gothenburg jumper looked to be a good hit and performed great competitions all summer.

- I am happy with the competition. I think I can jump really far soon, my body feels good and I am in good shape, says Sagnia after the competition.

Sweden's best on the men's side, Thobias Montler, was also present and had six approved jumps out of six possible. Montler crowned a nice series with 7.86 and even that was enough victory.

- I always want to jump over eight meters but it was okay, Montler says after the competition.

Someone who had it tougher was Tilde Johansson who had no memorable competition. The 19-year-old started with a breakthrough that measured 4.43 and then failed to get any more jumps approved.
