On the morning of the 19th, CBA issued an announcement saying that CBA received the resignation of Wang Dawei "resigned from the position of CEO of CBA for personal reasons" on the evening of the 18th.
The new announcement shows that CBA held an interim board of directors on the 19th. The meeting decided:
1. Agree to accept Wang Dawei's resignation request. From now on, Wang Dawei will no longer serve as the CEO and legal representative of CBA;
2. Chairman Yao Ming presides over the daily work of CBA ;
3. Adhere to the development direction of CBA2.0 and steadily promote the league work.

It is also reported that Wang Dawei started as the CEO of the CBA company in May 2019. He is also the first CEO after the establishment of the CBA company, and is responsible for all the work of the CBA league. Before joining CBA, Wang Dawei worked in NBA China.
