The baseball schedule for the Tokyo Summer Olympics, which is delayed next year, has been confirmed.

The International Olympic Committee held a general meeting with today's video to determine the schedule for the official events of Tokyo Olympics, including baseball.

The Tokyo Olympic Baseball, which will be played by six countries, ends at the Azuma Stadium in Fukushima Prefecture on July 28, 2021, five days after the opening of the tournament, and ends with a gold medal match on August 7.

Only the opening game is held in Fukushima Prefecture, and the rest of the games are held at Yokohama Stadium.

The six countries in the final will be divided into two groups of three countries, and the first stage will be staged.

Depending on the group stage performance, the six nations go through a transformational loser revival and select a team to compete for the gold medal.

Four of the finalists have already been decided.

Host countries Japan, Europe and Africa continental teams Israel and South Korea and Mexico, which confirmed the first place in the Asia-Oceania region and the Americas in the Premier 12 last year, won the ticket to Tokyo.

The teams that ranked first in the finals of the Americas and the finals of the world, scheduled for early next year, will take the last train.
