After a fantastic round of 66 strokes yesterday, Henrik Norlander continued to perform road-winning golf at Miurfield Village in Ohio. The Stockholmer started with two pairs and then got into trouble on the third.

Big bunker problems for Norlander

After an entry in the bunker, the bunker shot became too long and Norlander was forced to a two-putt for bogey. But the Swede would recover in the best way and immediately retaliated for two straight birdies.

The second half of the round began with another bogey after new bunker problems on difficult par fours. But again Norlander bounced back and made a birdie on the eleven and hole thirteen.

Boring ending

Unfortunately for the Swede, Norlander left the field with a bitter aftertaste and once again it was the bunker game that betrayed. From a bunker over the green, the 33-year-old totally failed and hit the ball far too far past the bunker and down the fairway again.

It eventually became a bogey and the Swede is split six on five under par. Six strokes behind the Spaniard Jon Rahm who accounted for the best round of the day with -4, in total the Spaniard is -12.
