Arsenal are in the FA Cup final again after a heavy win against rivals Manchester City at Wembley. With its 13 FA Cup titles, Arsenal are the biggest winners and showed that tradition weighs heavily in the world's most traditional football tournament.

City started strong

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal managed to get a good start from the reigning champions City and despite a lot of ball possession for "The Citizens", the Arsenal defense held tight. Instead, it was the red and whites from north London who would stand out. A long post from young Nicholas Pepe found Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the far post who could hit 1-0 at Wembley. The city press slowed down and Arsenal were able to take a break in the lead.

Just like the first half, the Blues from Manchester started at a furious pace in the second. This time it was Emiliano Martinez in the Arsenal box who with a bunch of nice saves made sure that the London club kept the lead.

Against Chelsea or Manchester United

But Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was not ready. After a smart pass from full-back Kieran Tierney, the Gabonese got oceans of space behind the City back line. The windy striker had no problem keeping the defenders behind him and was able to teasingly place the ball between Ederson's legs to make it 2-0. Arsenal managed to keep the match close and thus reached their 22nd FA Cup final.

The final will be played on the first of August and there awaits either Chelsea or Manchester United who will face each other in the second semi.
